[origin: WO2022223608A1] The invention relates to an assembled electrical cable (2) for an electrical connector (3), comprising an electrical conductor (8), which is in the form of a stranded conductor composed of a plurality of individual wires and which has at least one end portion (10) compacted into a flat shape. According to the invention, the assembled electrical cable (2) has an elongate contact element (11), comprising at least one lateral surface forming a first connection surface (12), which is connected to the compacted end portion (10) of the electrical conductor (8), and comprising at least one additional lateral surface, which faces away from the first connection surface (12) and forms a first contact surface (13) for contacting a mating contact surface (14) of a mating contact element (7) of a mating connector (5). Each of the at least one contact surface (13, 16) has at least one first locking means (20, 21, 22) for locking to a corresponding second locking means of the electrical connector (3), in order to provide mutual locking between the assembled cable (2) and the electrical connector (3) when the assembled cable (2) is installed in the connector (3).
