[origin: WO2021140047A2] The invention relates to a brake pad (1) for a disc brake of a rail vehicle, comprising at least two support plates (2, 3), at least one friction lining (4) retained on a respective one of the support plates (2, 3), wherein a respective retaining element for fixing the brake pad (1) to a pad holder of a brake caliper of the disc brake is secured to a side of the support plates (2, 3) facing away from the at least one friction lining (4), wherein at least one of the retaining elements has a guide body (5) non-detachably arranged on the support plate (2, 3), as well as at least one spacer piece (6, 7, 7a, 8, 9, 9a) which is in contact with an end surface (51, 52) of the guide body (5) and can be detachably secured to same and/or the support plate (2, 3).
