[origin: WO2021144533A1] The invention relates to an item of luggage (1) comprising two at least partially rigid half-shells (9, 10), a connecting strip (11) provided on a first side of the item of luggage and permanently connecting the two half-shells, a zipper (12) which extends on either side of the connecting strip along the periphery of the item of luggage, and which is configured to connect the two half-shells when the item of luggage is in a closed configuration, the zipper extending generally in a straight line along second and third sides of the item of luggage and in a first horizontal plane to respective corner areas (13), wherein the zipper is curved to a first side, wherein it subsequently extends generally in a straight line to the connecting strip and in a second horizontal plane separate from the first horizontal plane.
