Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren für eine Durchführung einer alternierenden Funktionsbewegung zur Erzeugung einer Sekundärfunktion mit einem Handgriff (30) eines elektrischen Türgriffs (10) einer Fahrzeugtür (100), aufweisend die folgenden Schritte:- Erhalten einer Funktionsaufforderung (FA) zur Aktivierung der Sekundärfunktion,- Durchführen der alternierenden Funktionsbewegung, wobei der Handgriff (30) mehrfach zwischen wenigstens zwei unterschiedlichen Funktionspositionen (FUP) hin- und herbewegt wird.
