[origin: WO2022218565A1] The housing (1) of a radial press has a casing section (6) and an annular end-face support disc (7). An annular structure (2) is movably guided in the housing (1) along a press axis (X), and multiple press jaws (3) arranged about the press axis (X) are supported on the support disc (7) so as to be movably guided in the radial direction. The annular structure (2) acts on the press jaws (3) by means of control surfaces (14) which are inclined relative to the press axis (X) and which lies against press jaw (3) counter surfaces designed in the form of sliding surfaces (13). The end face (23) of the ring structure (2) facing the support disc (7) is designed with axial protrusions (24). Each control surface (14) protrudes into the radial inner surface (25) of one such protrusion (24), and the support disc (7) has recesses (28) which are paired with the protrusions (24) and into which the protrusions (24) enter when the radial press is closed.
