[origin: WO2021151526A1] The present invention relates to a paper-based container (10), comprising a main body (11) having a front wall (12), a rear wall (13), at least two side walls (14a, 14b) and a base (15), a cover (17) which is hinged in a pivoting manner on the rear wall (13) and closes the container (10) in a closed state and exposes the container interior (16) in an open state, wherein the container (10) has at least one closure system (18), comprising at least one detent lug (19), at least one detent lug recess (20) corresponding with the detent lug (19) and at least one actuation element (21) which is operatively connected to the detent lug (19) and is designed to cause the detent lug (19) to change between a locked position and an open position, wherein the detent lug (19) is arranged on the cover (17) and the actuation element (21) is arranged in the cover (17) and the detent lug recess (20) is arranged in the front wall (12), wherein, in the closed state, the detent lug (19) engages in the locked position with the detent lug recess (20) in such a way that the cover (17) is secured on the main body (11) so as to prevent the cover independently opening.
