[origin: WO2021151941A1] A gas metering valve for an internal combustion engine with a housing (1), in which a gas chamber (2) is configured which has an inlet opening (5) and an outlet opening (6). A movable valve element (8) is arranged in the gas chamber (2), which valve element (8) can be moved by way of an electric actuator (16) counter to the force of a restoring spring (17), and which valve element (8) interacts with a valve seat (11) in order to open and close the inlet opening (5). A shut-off valve (25) is arranged between the valve element (8) and the outlet opening (6), which shut-off valve (25) opens in the flow direction (15) to the outlet opening (6) and shuts off the opposite flow direction.
