Abstract (en)
An aluminum-alloy ingot comprises: an aluminum matrix (1); and TiB<sub>2</sub> aggregates (2), which are dispersed in the aluminum matrix (1) and in which TiB<sub>2</sub> particles (3) are aggregated. The average value of the circle-equivalent diameters of the TiB<sub>2</sub> aggregates (2) in the state in which the TiB<sub>2</sub> aggregates (2) are exposed from the aluminum matrix (1) is 3.0 µm or less and the average value of the circularities is 0.20 or more.
