Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Beschichten (21) eines Bauteils (2) einer Strömungsmaschine (1) in einem Bad (33), bei welchem Verfahren das Bauteil (2) teilweise in das Bad (33) mit einem Beschichtungsmaterial (32) eingetaucht wird; das Bauteil (2) während des zumindest teilweisen Eintauchens zumindest zeitweise um eine Drehachse (22) gedreht (23) wird, die außerhalb des Bades (33) liegt; das Bauteil (2) über die Drehung (23) hinweg allenfalls teilweise eingetaucht wird.
