[origin: WO2021156065A1] The invention is based on a cooking device (10a-e), in particular hob device, having at least one inverter (12a-e), at least one further inverter (14a-e), at least one inductor (16a-e), at least one set of further inductors (18a-e) which has at least one first further inductor (20a-e) and at least one second further inductor (22a-e), and at least one switching arrangement (26a-e) which, in at least one operating state, assigns the inverter (12a-e) to the inductor (16a-e). In order to achieve improved properties in respect of flexibility, the invention proposes that, in the operating state, the further inverter (14a-e) can be assigned to at least one arbitrary further inductor (20a-e, 22a-e, 24a-e) of the set of further inductors (18a-e) by means of the switching arrangement (26a-e).
