Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brandübungsanlage (2) mit einer Brandkammer (4) und einer in der Brandkammer (4) angeordneten Brandeinheit (6), die mit einer Gasversorgungseinheit (8) verbindbar ist, einen ersten Auslass (10) für gasförmiges Gas aus der Gasversorgungseinheit (8) aufweist, wobei die Brandeinheit (6) einen zweiten Auslass (12) für flüssiges Gas aus der Gasversorgungseinheit (8) aufweist, und die Brandkammer (4) innerhalb eines vorbestimmten Radius (R1) um die Brandeinheit (6) mindestens eine Öffnung (14) in einer Bodenwandung (16) der Brandkammer (4) aufweist. Mit dem Gas, das aus dem ersten Auslass (10) strömt, wird eine Pilotflamme gezündet. Die Pilotflamme gezündet das aus dem zweiten Auslass (12) strömende flüssige Gas. Ein Sensor überwacht das Feuer an dem ersten Auslass (10) und an dem zweiten Auslass (12).
