[origin: WO2021197973A1] The invention relates to an axle drive for a vehicle comprising at least one drivable vehicle axle oriented transversely to a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, said axle drive comprising: a drive shaft which extends parallel to the longitudinal direction and is designed to receive drive power from an electric motor at an input portion and to output drive power at an output portion; an output shaft which extends parallel to the drive shaft and is designed to receive drive power from the output portion of the drive shaft at an input portion and to output drive power to the vehicle axle via a bevel gear located at a first end of the output shaft; and a brake, in particular a parking brake, comprising a brake disc which is located at a second end of the output shaft and between the input portion of the drive shaft and the input portion of the output shaft with respect to the longitudinal direction.
