[origin: WO2021160431A1] The present invention relates to a fume extraction device comprising an attached air duct (2), wherein the fume extraction device (11) is designed to be installed in an item of kitchen furniture, and the fume extraction device (11) comprises: an air inlet opening (113), which is in the top side of the fume extraction device (11); and a unit housing (110), which is arranged underneath the air inlet opening (113) and has an air outlet opening (114) in a side wall; and a fan, which is arranged in the unit housing (110). The fume extraction device is characterised in that the fume extraction device (11) comprises at least one noise-filter element (3, 3'), which is accommodated in the unit housing (110) and of which the filter material is chemically inert. The invention also relates to a system for installing a fume extraction device (11) and to an assembly kit (5).
