Il est proposé un dispositif de coupure (50) d'un circuit électrique (30) de moyenne tension, comportant :- une ampoule à vide (1) comportant une électrode mobile (3),- un levier d'actionnement (4) lié à l'électrode mobile (3) et mobile entre une position d'ouverture (P1) et une position de fermeture (P2),- un isolateur (5) lié au levier d'actionnement (4),- une douille de commande (6) solidaire de l'électrode mobile (3),- un moyen de rappel élastique (7), exerçant un effort de rappel entre la douille de commande (6) et l'isolateur (5),dans lequel une course de déplacement (C1) du levier d'actionnement (4) est supérieure à la distance d'ouverture (D1) de telle sorte que la douille de commande (6) est éloignée de l'isolateur (5) lorsque le levier d'actionnement (4) est en position de fermeture (P2),le dispositif de coupure comportant une tige indicatrice (8) solidaire de la douille de commande (6), configurée pour s'étendre au moins en partie à l'extérieur de l'isolateur (5) lorsque le levier d'actionnement (4) est en position de fermeture (P2).
