[origin: WO2021165589A1] Method for monitoring the use of a traction battery (1) installed in a motor vehicle, said motor vehicle comprising an electric traction chain, a thermal comfort system, a low-voltage network, the traction battery (1) having a plurality of modes of use including a standby mode in which the traction battery (1) is neither being charged nor in use to power the electric traction chain, the thermal comfort system or the low-voltage network, said method comprising the steps of collecting (10) data relating to the traction battery (1); identifying (12), from the collected data, the standby mode of the traction battery (1); detecting (13) a predefined variation of at least one datum relating to the traction battery (1) in standby mode.
