Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021165271A1] The invention relates to a passive switch (1) for a monorail (2) which has a chassis (3) that can be moved along running surfaces arranged about the periphery of a support rail of the monorail. The switch (1) has a rotated section (10), which is designed such that a first set of running surfaces (12, 14, 16) transitions continuously into two second sets of running surfaces (12a,12b,14a,14b,16a,16b) over the length of the running surfaces in that the running surfaces (12, 14, 16) of the first set are divided into the two second sets of running surfaces (12a,12b,14a,14b,16a,16b) in the longitudinal direction and the two second sets of running surfaces (12a,12b,14a,14b,16a,16b) are rotated by an angle of twist relative to each other in opposite directions in the circumferential direction farther along the length of the running surfaces, and a branching section (20), which is located behind the rotated section (10) in the longitudinal direction and which extends the two second sets of running surfaces (12a,12b,14a,14b,16a,16b) in different directions.
