Abstract (en)

[origin: EP4111878A1] An atomizer and an aerosol generating apparatus employing the atomizer. The atomizer (100) comprises: an e-liquid storing component (10) and an atomizing component (20). An e-liquid inlet channel (21) is provided within the atomizing component (20). The e-liquid storing component (10) is provided therein with a storage cavity (111) used for storing an aerosol forming matrix. The atomizing component (20) is provided with an e-liquid sealing part (22). An e-liquid guiding hole (221) capable of communicating with the e-liquid inlet channel (21) is provided on the e-liquid sealing part. The atomizing component (20) can be moved from an e-liquid12 sealing position to a use position relative to the e-liquid storing component (10). The atomizer favors the storage of the aerosol forming matrix and, additionally, is capable of preventing the aerosol forming matrix in the storage cavity (111) from leaking to the external environment and preventing the aerosol forming matrix from spoilage when coming into contact with air, thus increasing user experience.
