The modular insertion core (2) enters into the cavity provided in the first frame body (1) from the opening direction of the first frame body (1), and the modular insertion core (2) is fixed in the first frame body (1) by means of a second frame body (3), wherein the second frame body (3) is detachably connected to the first frame body (1). Also provided are a connector, comprising the said fixing holder of the modular insertion core (2), and a mounting method for the connector. The fixing holder of the modular insertion core (2) can realize quick mounting of the modular insertion core (2), and the connector is reliable in connection and convenient to mount.
