[origin: WO2021175657A1] The invention relates to a machine tool, more particularly a chipping hammer, including a tool receiving element for receiving and holding a tool, more particularly a chisel, and a device for optionally rotating the tool receiving element. The device includes an impact element housing with a connecting device, a coupling element with a connecting device, and a decoupling element for reversibly disconnecting the coupling element from the impact element housing, wherein the coupling element can be reversibly set in a first or second position, and wherein in the first position the coupling element is releasably connected to the impact element housing so that rotation of the tool receiving element about an axis of rotation is inhibited and in the second position the coupling element can be moved relative to the impact element housing so that the tool receiving element is rotatable relative to the impact element housing about an axis of rotation.
