The power unit is characterized in that a flywheel mass element 21 arranged on the second crankshaft 4 or on a flywheel mass compensating shaft, and a compensating camshaft 10 are provided, wherein the compensating camshaft includes at least one compensating cam element 11 which is operatively connected with a linearly guided compensating mass 13.
