[origin: WO2021198421A1] Described is lifting gear, more particularly in the form of a crane, having a high-strength fibre cable on which a load receiving means and/or holding means is attached. It is proposed that an electrical discharging device is connected to the fibre cable, which electrical discharging device can discharge electrostatic charges from the fibre cable and/or from the load receiving and/or holding means fastened to the fibre cable. As a result, a load receiving and/or holding means, such as a load hook, attached to the fibre cable can be handled in the usual way by a slinger or another person standing on the ground without said person experiencing electric shocks.
