[origin: WO2021175896A1] A housing for an electric machine, in particular an electric motor, with an inner housing part (3) and an outer housing part (4) which surrounds the inner housing part (3), wherein there is an intermediate chamber (5) which forms a cooling duct between the two housing parts (3, 4), wherein one housing part is provided on the side which faces the intermediate chamber (5) with a cooling duct structure which consists of plastic, and wherein one housing part consists of metal and the other housing part consists of plastic, is to be capable of being produced particularly simply. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the cooling duct structure has webs (3) which are moulded onto the housing part (3, 4) which is made from metal, wherein the webs (3) configure cooling ducts which are open towards the housing part (3, 4) made from metal along the length of the intermediate chamber (5).
