[origin: WO2021176157A1] The invention relates to an electric motor (1) comprising a rotor (11) mounted on a shaft (12), a stator (13) disposed around the rotor (11), a front bearing (14) and a rear bearing (15) that are connected together by fastening means (21), said front and rear bearings (14, 15) forming an internal cavity in which the rotor (11) and the stator (13) are accommodated, characterized in that the electric motor (1) also comprises a noise insulation cover (20) in the form of a cup entirely covering the rear bearing (15) and a part (142) of the front bearing (14) extending axially from an end face (141) of said front bearing (14), the noise insulation cover (20) being configured to damp the mechanical and magnetic noise generated by the motor.
