[origin: WO2023280467A1] The invention relates to a method for closing the ends of a drinking straw (1) on the basis of paper, comprising the following steps: providing a tubular drinking straw (1) on the basis of paper; cutting to size an end region of the drinking straw (1) so that a tongue-shaped portion (4) is formed; reversing the tongue-shaped portion (4) over the opening (3a) of the drinking straw (1) so that two lateral openings (10) are formed; adhesively bonding the tongue-shaped portion (4) with the outer side of the wall (2) of the drinking straw (1).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum endseitigen Verschließen eines Trinkhalms (1) auf Basis von Papier, umfassend die folgenden Schritte:- Bereitstellen eines tubusförmigen Trinkhalms (1) auf Basis von Papier;- Zuschneiden eines Endbereichs des Trinkhalms (1), so dass ein zungenförmiger Abschnitt (4) ausgebildet wird;- Umlegen des zungenförmigen Abschnitts (4) über die Öffnung (3a) des Trinkhalms (1) hinweg, so dass zwei seitliche Öffnungen (10) ausgebildet werden.- Verkleben des zungenförmigen Abschnitts (4) mit der Außenseite der Wandung (2) des Trinkhalms (1).
