Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021181136A1] The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a photo- catalytic material based on 6-phenyl-1, 3, 5-triazine-2, 4-diamine and Ti02. The material can be used to degrade contaminants and pollutants in liquids or gases as well as on solids and is efficient in visible light. Then it can be applied as a powder as such dispersed in water or can be formulated as a paint for interiors and exteriors. The photo-catalytic material can be used in construction, ceramic and automotive industry, environmental engineering, for air conditioning equipment, air purification and sterilization equipment, and in purification of water, in particular drinking water for example for antibacterial and antiviral purposes.
