Abstract (en)
A clothing treatment apparatus according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a drum for accommodating laundry; a motor for driving the drum; a drying unit for drying the laundry by heating the drum; and a current detection unit for detecting a current flowing through the motor, wherein drying of the laundry can end on the basis of a first current value detected by the current detection unit when the motor drives the drum at a first revolutions per minute and a second current value detected by the current detection unit when the motor drives the drum at a second revolutions per minute that are greater than the first revolutions per minute.
