Abstract (en)
A door handle apparatus for a vehicle is assembled to a door panel (DPb) of the vehicle. The door handle apparatus includes a base, a grip (21), and a switch device. The grip (21) is supported by the base, rotates from a state in which an outer surface of the grip (21) is located in a same plane as an outer surface of the door panel (DPb), and is transitionable to a state of protruding from the outer surface of the door panel (DPb). The switch device includes a switch body and a switch cover (321). The switch cover (321) is supported by the base, rotates around the second shaft, enters an inner surface of the door panel (DPb), and engages with the switch body to switch ON and OFF states of a switch element (31).
