[origin: WO2021191445A1] The invention relates to a brushless DC electric motor (1, 1'), comprising: - a stator (3) comprising an electromagnetic drive coil (11) defining an internal radius (r1) of the stator, - a rotor (5) having permanent magnets (15, 17), the permanent magnets (15, 17) being circumferentially distributed within the rotor (5) around an axis of rotation (A1) of the rotor, and - at least one sensor (9) configured to detect the angular position of the rotor 1 (5), - the at least one sensor (9) is arranged at an axial distance (d1) of at most 10 mm relative to the permanent magnets (15, 17), - the at least one sensor (9) is arranged at a radius greater or less than at most 20 mm to the internal radius (r1) of the stator. 15 The invention also relates to an electric vehicle (53) comprising such an electric motor (1, 1').
