Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a multi-pulse line-interphase transformer converter (300) comprising a magnetic part (302) and an electric part (304), wherein the electric part (304) comprises magnetic components configured to be connected to a three-phase AC grid (320), and the electric part (304) comprises a multi-phase voltage system configured to be connected to a common DC capacitor (416). The electric part (304) is configured to split each AC grid phase (414) n times into two phases, resulting in a plurality of intermediate phases (432) at an internal interface (324), each intermediate phase (432) corresponding to a pulse of the multi-pulse line-interphase transformer converter (300). The intermediate phases (432) are connected to the multi-phase voltage system (300). The multi-phase voltage system comprises bridges (406) with actively controlled switches (402); and the bridges (406) are connected in parallel to the common DC capacitor (416).
