[origin: WO2021211081A1] The present invention relates to an item of clothing (1), for example a bra, a corset, briefs or a shoe, having integrated compensation means (2), which item of clothing has a foundation layer (3) with a first elasticity and a shape layer (4) with a second elasticity, the first elasticity of the foundation layer (3) and the second elasticity of the shape layer (4) being different, and which has an intermediate layer (5), which is arranged at least in regions between the foundation layer (3) and the shape layer (4) and is connected directly or indirectly to the foundation layer (3) and the shape layer (4). The technical solution described is distinguished in that the foundation layer (3) has a lower elasticity than the shape layer (4) and in that at least one elastically deformable element (6) is arranged in the intermediate layer (5) and is designed such that, when a compressive force is introduced into the elastically deformable element (6), the distance between the foundation layer (3) and the shape layer (4) is reduced at least in regions, the elastically deformable element (6) being supported indirectly or directly on the foundation layer (3) such that the elastically deformable element (6) covers a further distance on a side opposite the foundation layer (3) than on a side facing the foundation layer (3).
