[origin: WO2021209334A1] The invention relates to a venous valve prosthesis (1) for transporting a flow of body fluid in a vessel in a predefined direction, with a support structure (4) which has interconnected struts (4a). In order to avoid clot formation, the venous valve prosthesis moreover has a skirt (6), wherein the skirt (6) is connected to the support structure (4) and forms a closed jacket along the support structure (4), and also a first valve leaflet (5a) and a second valve leaflet (5b) which are each connected to the skirt (6), wherein the downstream edge (7a) of the first valve leaflet (5a) and the downstream edge (7b) of the second valve leaflet (5b) lie opposite each other and are configured in such a way that, in a first state of the valve leaflet arrangement, an opening is formed to allow the body fluid to flow through in the predefined direction, and, in a second state of the valve leaflet arrangement, the opening is closed and a return flow of the body fluid in the direction counter to the predefined direction is thus prevented.
