[origin: WO2021209222A1] The application relates to an internal gear machine (10) for reversing duty having a housing (12) with a chamber (14), in the chamber (14) there are disposed an externally toothed pinion (16) and an internally toothed ring gear (18), which mesh with one another, the rotational axes (20, 22) of which run parallel to and spaced apart from one another. The chamber (14) in the housing (12) is axially bounded and is connected via pressure pockets (40, 42) provided in the housing (12) to pressure connections (44, 46) in the internal gear machine (10). According to the invention, a switching valve (60, 62) is arranged in each connection between the pressure pockets (40, 42) and the pressure connections (44, 46) or compression spaces (78, 86), which valve opens or closes the connection.
