Abstract (en)
A coaxial connector system includes a main body and a load connector. The main body has a cylindrical bore holding an insulating tube which further holds a cylindrical center conductor. This conductor has at one end a contact area which is recessed for a recess distance within the tube such that an arcing space is formed. The load connector has an inner conductor with a center contact pin which is configured to protrude into the insulating tube and to establish a contact with the center conductor.
