Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021213842A1] The present invention relates to a kit which comprises a separator device and a particle sensor. The kit is characterised in that the separator device is arranged upstream of the particle sensor and is designed to allow only alveolar particles in the fluid stream so that only particles having a particle diameter in a range of 0 to 10 µm reach the particle sensor and are analysed by same. The particle sensor can thus be protected effectively against undesirable contamination and its measurement accuracy can be increased significantly by the reduction of the particles to be analysed that reach its measurement region. In a second aspect, the invention relates to the use of the proposed kit in a dust-collecting device, for example in order to control the dust-collecting device depending on the measurement results obtained using the proposed kit. In further aspects, the invention relates to a dust-collecting device that comprises a proposed kit, and also to a method for controlling a dust-collecting device depending on the measurement data obtained using the kit.
