Abstract (en)
The invention relates to an aerosol-generating article comprising a rod of aerosol-generating substrate (12). The aerosol-generating article further comprises a ventilation zone (60) arranged downstream the rod of aerosol-generating substrate. The ventilation zone comprises perforations. The perforations are arranged in a peripheral wall of the ventilation zone. The perforations have a non-constant pitch with a coefficient of variation of the pitch of above 5%. The invention further relates to an aerosol-generating system comprising an aerosol-generating device having a cavity for receiving an aerosol-generating article. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing an aerosol-generating article.
