Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021224348A1] The present invention relates to a capsule (1) in the form of an individual portion, designed to be extracted under pressure, containing at least one edible substance (2) in soluble powder form, constituted by two identical circular, oval or polygonal sheets (3, 3'), leaving a space for the edible substance, and welded at their periphery in order to obtain a capsule that is substantially symmetrical relative to its welding plane, the capsule being characterised in that each sheet (3, 3') is constituted by at least two biodegradable layers (4, 4'): (i) a first layer (4) is a film chosen from a film made from cellulose, polylactic acid polymer, polyhydroxyalcanoate polymer, poly(butylene succinate) polymer or paper, and (ii) a second layer (4') chosen from nonwovens made from a biodegradable material or woven filters made from a biodegradable material.
