[origin: WO2021228975A1] The invention relates to moulded fibre parts made of particles obtained from sugar beet, and to methods for producing moulded fibre parts of this kind, in particular by pulp moulding. The moulded fibre parts according to the invention are characterised by a reduced weight in comparison with conventional moulded fibre parts produced by pulp moulding, along with very good mechanical properties, while auxiliary materials, in particular the addition of adhesives, can be dispensed with. It has been found that the fibres in the particles hold together very well by themselves, which may be due to the natural content of pectin and other substances.
