Abstract (en)

In one embodiment, systems and methods include using a battery (110) to provide electrical charge to a vehicle (100). The battery (110) comprises a first half of a housing (200) coupled comprising one or more air vents (206) and an anode (204) disposed at least partially within the first half of the housing (200). The battery (110) further comprises a second half of the housing (200) comprising one or more air vents (206), wherein the anode (204) extends from the first half of the housing (200) and into the second half of the housing (200). The battery (110) further comprises a pair of cathodes (302) disposed within the second half of the housing (200), wherein the pair of cathodes (302) extends from the second half of the housing (200) and into the first half of the housing (200), wherein the anode (204) is disposed between the pair of cathodes (302), wherein there is a gap (212) between the anode (204) and each one of the pair of cathodes (302).
