[origin: EP4152796A1] Embodiments of the present invention provide a channel quality indicator reporting method and an integrated access backhaul node. The channel quality indicator reporting method includes: obtaining a target CQI type that needs to be reported, where different interference information is used for calculating CQIs of different target CQI types, and interference of the IAB-DU to reception of the IAB-MT is considered in interference information used for calculating a CQI of the target CQI type; and calculating and reporting the CQI of the target CQI type.
