Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2021234068A1] The invention relates to a method for filling an ink cartridge for a printer in an ink filling station, comprising the following steps: - determining the type of cartridge to be filled; - searching a database for information associated with said cartridge to be filled; - placing the cartridge in the station, the cartridge comprising a wall separating a reservoir of the cartridge from the outside; - perforating an opening passing through the wall from the outside towards the reservoir, with the position of the opening being dependent on the information; - filling by injecting ink through the opening under ink injection conditions that are dependent on the information; - sealing by cooling a deposit of plastic material in the opening under sealing conditions that are dependent on the information; - pressurising or depressurising, during which an internal reservoir is brought to a setpoint pressure by air blowing or air suction.
