Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2022033825A1] The invention relates to a device for processing containers, comprising an inspection apparatus (6), which inspects the containers with the container closures placed thereon. The inspection apparatus (6) has an illuminating apparatus (62), which illuminates the containers (10) to be inspected, and an image-capturing apparatus (64), which is suitable and intended for capturing spatially resolved images of the containers (10). The device is characterized in that the image-capturing apparatus (62) is directed at least also at regions of the containers (10) which, in a longitudinal direction (L) of the containers, are located below the container closures placed on the containers (10), and in that an evaluation apparatus is also provided, which determines, from at least one image captured of the container provided with the marking, a rotational position of said container relative to the container closure placed on the container.
