[origin: CA3184488A1] The present invention relates to the field of sealed capsules that are biodegradable by industrial composting and by domestic composting, for single use, containing at least one substance in powder form for the preparation of a beverage, e.g. coffee, intended to be extracted under pressure, said capsule comprising an enclosure with a bottom and a side wall having a circular rim, and a lid welded to the periphery of the rim of the enclosure, characterised in that the bottom, the side wall and the circular rim are formed by injection moulding of at least one formulation comprising: (i) at least one polymer selected from polyhydroxybutyrate, and (ii) at least one ingredient selected from silicates, vitamin E, plasticised plant or animal proteins, or mixtures thereof.
