Bei einer kreuzspulenherstellenden Textilmaschine (1) mit einer Vielzahl gleichartiger, nebeneinander angeordneter Arbeitsstellen (2) und mit einem Unterdrucksystem (7) weist jede der Arbeitsstellen (2) eine mit Unterdruck beaufschlagbare Saugdüse (5) zum Aufsuchen eines Fadenendes auf einer Spule (6) sowie eine mit Unterdruck beaufschlagbare Fadenspeicherdüse (4) zum temporären Aufnehmen einer Fadenüberlänge auf. Die Saugdüse (5) und die Fadenspeicherdüse (4) sind mittels jeweils einer Saugleitung (3) an das Unterdrucksystem (7) angeschlossen und mittels jeweils einer eigenen Absperreinrichtung (17) unabhängig voneinander von dem Unterdrucksystem (7) absperrbar. Den Saugdüsen (5) jeweils zweier benachbarter Arbeitsstellen (2) und/oder den Fadenspeicherdüsen (4) jeweils zweier benachbarter Arbeitsstellen (2) ist jeweils eine gemeinsame Absperreinrichtung (17) zugeordnet.
