[origin: WO2021259415A1] The invention relates to a roller, in particular for a sliding door of a vehicle, comprising a main part (2) having a running surface (3) pointing radially outward, wherein the running surface (3) can be coupled to a guide rail of a sliding door, and a central bore (4), penetrating the main part (2) at least in part, for receiving a bearing arrangement for rotatable mounting of the main part (2). A roller which is cost-effective to manufacture and is additionally durable is created in that at least the running surface (3) consists of a radiation-crosslinked plastic having a gel value in formic acid between 20% and 60%.
