[origin: WO2021249671A1] The invention relates to a valuable document (1) having a substrate element (2) and a foil element (4) arranged in a portion (3) of the substrate element (2), the substrate element (2) having, at least in the portion (3), a luminescent marker (5) which is designed to emit luminescent radiation (6) which has at least a first wavelength (7) and a second wavelength (8) each in the infrared spectral range, and the foil element (4) having a reflective layer (9) and a spectrally selective layer (10), the selective layer (10) being arranged between the substrate element (2) and the reflective layer (9), the reflective layer (9) being designed to reflect infrared radiation, and the selective layer (10) being designed to inhibit transmission of infrared radiation in a spectrally selective manner, the inhibition of the transmission of the first wavelength (7) and the inhibition of the transmission of the second wavelength (8) differing by at least 10%.
