[origin: WO2021249712A1] The invention relates to the field of air traffic control. More particularly, the invention aims to determine the processing complexity of an ATC situation. To that end, the invention discloses a method consisting in grouping, for pairs of trajectories, parameters of the trajectories in a matrix, applying to this matrix a transformation aiming to concentrate the energy, and then calculating the complexity index of the ATC situation, according to a level of concentration of the energy per component.
