[origin: WO2023066652A1] The invention relates to a network cable for an electric device, said network cable having a plug and a functional unit. The plug comprises a first group of contacts for supplying energy to the electric device and a second group of contacts for a data transmission between the network cable and the electric device. The functional unit has a first interface for a data exchange between the electric device and the functional unit. A second aspect of the invention relates to such an electric device which can be connected to the proposed network cable in order to supply energy, and another aspect of the invention relates to a system comprising a network cable, an electric device, and another electric device, wherein the possibility to communicate between the network cable and the other electric device can be provided by a second interface of the functional unit of the network cable. By virtue of the invention, a communication can be advantageously facilitated between the network cable and a first and/or a second electric device.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Netzkabel für ein elektrisches Gerät, wobei das Netzkabel einen Stecker und eine Funktionseinheit aufweist. Der Stecker umfasst eine erste Gruppe von Kontakten für eine Energieversorgung des elektrischen Geräts und eine zweite Gruppe von Kontakten für eine Datenübertragung zwischen dem Netzkabel und dem elektrischen Gerät. Die Funktionseinheit weist eine erste Schnittstelle für einen Datenaustausch zwischen dem elektrischen Gerät und der Funktionseinheit auf. In einem zweiten Aspekt betrifft die Erfindung ein solches elektrisches Gerät, das mit dem vorgeschlagenen Netzkabel zum Zwecke der Energieversorgung verbunden werden kann. In einem weiteren Aspekt betrifft die Erfindung ein System mit einem Netzkabel, einem elektrischen Gerät und einem weiteren elektrischen Gerät, wobei eine Kommunikationsmöglichkeit zwischen dem Netzkabel und dem weiteren elektrischen Gerät mittels einer zweiten Schnittstelle der Funktionseinheit des Netzkabels bereitgestellt werden kann. Mit der Erfindung kann vorteilhafterweise eine Kommunikation zwischen dem Netzkabel und einem ersten und/oder einem zweiten elektrischen Gerät ermöglicht werden.
