[origin: WO2021260309A1] The invention relates to an alarm support cover (7) configured to extend across a motor vehicle awning trough to secure a motor vehicle alarm and to enclose an alarm system housing. A sheet (8) forms the alarm support cover (7) and comprises a central portion (10) connecting a first mounting bracket (11) of the sheet (8) to a second mounting bracket (12) of the sheet (8). The sheet (8) comprises at least one member (13, 14) for mounting the motor vehicle alarm to the central portion thereof (10). According to the invention, each mounting bracket comprises a member (112, 122) for indexing the cover (7) on an edge of the awning trough and a member (114, 124) for mounting the cover (7) on the edge of the awning trough (2).
