The device (10) has a curved pipe section (28) and a pump (16) having a delivery element (26) and a straight and tubular intake port (24). A flow guiding element (44) is located inside the intake port (24), and/or at least one inflow channel (30) opens into the intake port (24) in a radial direction with respect to the intake port (24), preferably for evening out a flow in the intake port (24).
