[origin: WO2022000004A1] The invention relates to a sun protection device comprising at least two longitudinal rods (2), at least two transverse rods (1), and at least one covering unit (12) which is stretched at least between the longitudinal rods (2), wherein each of the transverse rods (1) has a main part (4) and two limbs (3) which are connected to the main part (4), and each limb (3) is connected to at least one longitudinal rod (2). The invention is characterized in that the limbs (3) are at an angle (A1, A2, A3) of between 165° and 110° relative to the main part (4).
